Job Description

As a Full-Time Kids English Teacher, you will inspire and support students through engaging, student-centered English lessons in a fun, welcoming, and professional environment. Teachers work with children ranging from preschool through high school, delivering interactive lessons that help students build confidence, communication skills, and a lifelong love of learning.

In addition to teaching, teachers participate in school events, professional development, and ongoing collaboration with colleagues to help maintain the high standards and positive culture of ABCDAVID'S English School.

Requirements

Native or near-native English proficiency
Valid work visa
Passion for teaching and working with children
Energetic, creative, and reliable personality
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Commitment to professional growth
Minimum two years of teaching experience preferred
Japanese language ability highly preferred but not required
TESOL, TEFL, CELTA, or teaching certification preferred

Working Hours

Tuesday–Saturday

Approximately 28.75 scheduled hours per week
Weekdays generally between 15:00–22:00 (depending on location)
Saturdays generally 9:00–18:00 (depending on location)
Includes lesson preparation, school events, quarterly meetings, and training sessions

Salary

Monthly salary: ¥250,000–¥300,000
Additional Compensation:

¥10,000 monthly certification allowance for qualifying TESOL/TEFL holders
Transportation reimbursement up to ¥25,000 per month
